hey guys sorry to post such a general topic, but I am looking for info. in general on the AR, differences between, A1/A2, M4 etc. I have read quite a bit here, and there is good info. But I was looking for one more centralized source, website, book, whatever. Just trying to educate myself a bit.

The Maryland AR-15 Shooters Site is a great way to 'get up to speed' (especially if you read the FAQ there). Once you have that basic reference comming back here to fill in the gaps and get more 'advanced' questions answered is a good idea.

Thanks, actually I did read through all of that info. GOOD STUFF, I was just looking for a little more. Forest, the site you recommended seems to be down as of right this second, I will check it again later.
