| So when I bought my stripped lower and the parts kit, I was expecting on putting it all together because I wanted to learn as I went. However, the guy at my local gun store was nice and put it all together free of charge. However, I still want to know how to assemble a stripped lower from scratch, so my question is if I would be able to basically take my whole lower apart again (as it was at first) and then put it all back together. Has anyone done that before? Is it a good idea or pointless? its not a bad thing to do either is it? haha |
| I am by no means an expert but putting it together is fun and informative. You will know you gun a little better and how it works. I would think that if you use common sense you will have no trouble taking it apart and putting it back together. I might leave the trigger guard on. There is not much to learn there, but you can break a ear off your lower. |
| the quickest way to learn is thru trial and error, take it apart and out it back together as many times as you need until youve got it down pat, and if you have trouble you can always look here, use google, or youtube to find out how to do whatever your doing. i dont think its pointless at all i think its very informational. go for it man. |

Quoted: Haha I wish. If I had the money I would in a heart beat. Just buy one part at a time thats what I do! Buy a stripped lower and when you have the money get a parts kit and a grip and slowly build it. I dont have much money but i have 2 ARs and when the zombies come ARs are worth more then money. |
