Ok I will start off by saying that I have used the search and read a lot. However the more reading, the more I am confused. I also have given thought to buying one prebuilt or build it myself. Well even though buying one would be cheaper, but I want to build it myself and that way I know the weapon inside & out and know what I have. Ok the problem, I have read about the AR platform. My problem is, all the different ways to build I guess. Can comeone point me to a place that explains the differences between M4, A2 so forth etc....? I just hope I can get it figured out before I start my build. I have placed a $1500 max spending limit. I just want the best , yet build one that has interchangeable parts with the next guy.
