Yea, I like this design from what I have seen.  Definitely in on it.

And this is still able to drop into Shelf or Push pin lowers?  And still for 93/91/94(MP5)?

Can anyone explain to me the difference between SEF and Navy lowers and how that would effect trigger fit?

Also I have an AP5, that has an SEF lower?

For anyone curious about lower compatibility. Both lowers work with the navy ambi style selectors but the SEF style will look better in the SEF lowers and the navy ambi will look better in the navy lowers. Here is what ARHK looks like with the navy ambi selectors installed in a SEF housing. https://x.com/s3igu2/status/2040488777089511500

I really like having the manufacturer in this thread, it really helps.

Will the SEF selectors be available for purchase separately later? Trying to get this before my state gets dumber.

Awesome, that's great. I'm personally not too concerned about cosmetics of the selector markings as long as it functions in both. I have guns with SEF and ambi lowers so it's nice to know I can buy one pack and use it in any of them.

Once we also drop the SEF style levers they will match the markings of the SEF housing. The navy ambi matches the navy markings but as you can see its a lil weird looking in the SEF housing. But it does work.

Looks like they are shooting for 5/1 production. I just hope they have shorter levers so they don't interfere with your grip.

The shorter black Navy ambi style levers are the ones we are doing first then later on the longer SEF style ones.

Ambi, sometimes referred to as “pictogram” or “Navy” style.

The ambi is obviously the “newer” style.
The trigger packs and lowers from SEF and Ambi lowers are not cross compatible. IE you can’t use a SEF trigger pack in a Ambi lower and vice versa.

I recently swapped my SEF trigger pack to a Ambi lower in my AP5. I much prefer the Ambi look and feel.

It’s really cool that AS designs trigger works in both.

I bought an SEF Navy used lower off hkparts and had it engraved with pictogram for this ARHK. Pretty excited. Digital sublimation media did the work and it turned out really nice. Was a heck of a lot cheaper than a new Navy pictogram.

Though they now sell an AP5 “Navy” model, that wasn’t available when I purchased mine.

That said Atlantic sells the AP5 Navy lowers for $300 IIRC. I bought one and sold my SEF lower for $200 on the EE.

It was well worth the $100 net for the upgrade. Attached File

The navy style will work in the sef housing it just wont look clone correct so its really up to you. That said my recommendation to anyone who wants a ARHK just buy when you get the opportunity, then swap the selectors later. Demand is unreal for these drop ins right now and i cant imagine the selector swap will be much at all. Eventually I'm sure we will offer a version that ships with the sef selectors instead of the navy but idk when that will be.

Looks like the AP5 Navy lowers show 4 positions but the ARHK pack is 3 position?

Just to add confusion, how about the Navy style G3 SEF lowers? Where do those fit in?
4/7/2026 10:44:09 AM EDT
[#33]
So when in the 3rd position, where will it line up to on the lowers with 4 position markings (safe, semi, 3 shot burst, and auto)?
Will it line up with the 3 shot burst marking or the auto marking?

IIRC the burst setting is in between the normal semi and full positions so a 3 pos selector  gets the same safe, semi, full and you just can’t align it with burst.

ETA back when I got a binary HK pack I’d originally wanted that to align with the 2-rd burst icon but realized the above.

Yes it will work. You don’t need a new lower, it just might not look clone correct until they come out with SEF selectors.

That’s my understanding. Sounds like the selectors can be replaced too but that Ambi style is only what is being offered at first release.

I paid out the nose for a Warhammer setup with a Lee lower.  It looks like ass.

I'd love an SEF lower so this "looks correct."  Between both FRT solutions, I'll be deeper into FRTs than the damn gun itself.

@AS_Designs Do we have any sort of rough timeline for these?

If we are talking a few weeks, I’ll probably hold of on buying the ARC Fire V2 and put my money toward this.

If we are taking a few months, I’ll probably buy the V2 tomorrow and have enough of my gun budget saved up for one of these as well when the time comes.

ASD don’t forget about your B&T homies

I’ve got the APC10 back from EVT and it’s incredible.  Picture canned hatred and violence begging to be released.  That’s the only way I can describe frt 10mm.  It’s savage.

I converted my GHM SD9 myself with an 80 dollar kit that was 3d printed.  It also runs lights out.  I’m just concerned about the longevity of a printed trip lever thing.  So far so good.  Milled it out with a drill press and a carbide tipped dremel bit.  Surprisingly effective and good results.

I’ll do the ASD kit on the GHM
