What is the difference in elevation at 50 yards between the large and small holes of the A-2 sight?

This is what I have found with my Bushmaster 16" and XM193 ammo.

At 50 yards, using the small apperature caused the bullet to strike .64" higher.
At 100 yards 1.35" higher and
At 200 yards 3.25" higher.

Technically the difference is supposed to be 2.5 MOA.   The aperture was designed to change from a 300 meter zero to a 200 meter zero (using M855) by flipping from the small aperture to the large aperture.  At 50 yards the difference would equate to about 1.25".

I swear mine is more than that though. I'll have to do a test of that sometime.  It may have just been because it's harder to tell where exactly the middle is on the big ap.  I like the big ap though for close up!!

That's why I used the word "supposed" in that statement.  I also find varying amounts of difference on some of my rifles.
