I used to carry around assorted little hex and torx tools for range use. It was a PITA. I bought one of these: www.riflescopes.com/products/LEU52296/leupold_scopesmith_mounting_tool.htm It's the most useful tool in my range kit and I would never go anywhere with my scoped rifles without it. It will fit in an AR butt-trap with a little room to spare. You can take a few of the Leupold proprietary oversized torx and hex heads out and replace them with those from a standard Stanley (or whatever) set quite easily. Thus, my set fits EVERYTHING on my AR's, SPR, and M25 (i.e., Badger rings, ARMS rings, ARMS rail screws, PRI gas block screws, ARMS mount screws, BPT mount screws, bdc knob tiny adjustment screws, everything. Even has a spare screwdriver. Best $20 I ever spent. |

Me too ekl. Let me preface my remarks by saying I don't own Leupold stock, nor am I an SWFA employee (though they are a good company) |
