The Acadamy here in Little Rock has a 16 barrel bushy with collapsible stock for sale for 8 bills.  They also have a Carbon 15 bushy for 727.  They C15 seems to me to be a piece of shit.  Is that a good price on the other one though?  I've never owned an AR and to tell you the truth never wanted too.  But I'm starting to see the need.  School me please.

You're a team member with over 1000 posts and have never owned an AR?  I think it's about time to do something about that!  The bushy is a good rifle, but you could probably find a better price, or just build one.  Good luck!

You could easily build a carbine for $500-600. Might not be all Bushy, but you could get comparable quality. You would also be getting the features you want (flattop vs A2, buttstock, foreend, sights, grip, etc.

I'm interested in building one,  I do want the flat top upper for a good optic but I don't want much more than that.  I'd like to get out of it that cheap.  It would be nice.  More money for mags and ammo.
