I am building a 6.8.  I want to use it as a target rifle and as a deer rifle.  Looking at scopes I have decided the trijicon accupoint is the way i want to go.  Someone suggested i get the 4x, because i can use it with both eyes open for close range, fast target acquisition.  So, then I began to wonder about those long range shots.  Will I be able to count the tines on a deer at 300 yrds or better?  So, then I have read that the 10x accupoint has the same both eyes open capability.  Does anyone have any experience with this.  I think for hunting purposes the 10x would serve me better.  I also plan on mounting a dot site onto the scope, as seen else where on this forum.  I am very new to building AR's, so all help and input is appreciated.
