| Is it possible to mount a 2.5-10X56 Accupoint on a flat top with extra high rings (without bridging the barrel nut) or do I need a cantilevered mount (like Larue) to accomodate the eye relief? The stock on the rifle is a 5 position LMT Sopmod. Thanks! |

People do it all the time, but the cantilever mount helps out considerably. There are all kinds of mounts to choose from that do cantilever, but LaRue is top notch.

| I don't want to bridge the barrel nut. I had a little personal issue (I hate waiting) with ordering the LT SPR mount, so I'm looking for alternatives. I would like to go with just a set of super high rings (mark 4 or nightforce) as that would be the cheapest, but I don't want to order them and find I have an eye relief issue. |
