The SSA load uses an open-tip match bullet, the Sierra MatchKing. The Prvi load uses a garbage FMJ bullet. The smallest group that I was able to obtain shooting from a benchrest using the 62 grain Prvi load was 3.18".

I'm going to have to ban you if you keep making me look stupid like that. ![]() |

Is the privi 62gr the M855 stuff? Im contemplating getting some privi 69 match ammo. So far my only privi ammo has been the m193 and its been nearly 1 to 1.5 moa @ 100 yds. I don't think so. Prvi also makes a standard 62gr fmj load. I haven't shot any Prvi M855, but my experience with their M193 has had the same results as yours. Much more accurate than the LC. I think I had one hard primer but I just went into immediate action and never looked at the round. |

This is not the m855 loading from privi, just the 62gr fmj .223. I have also had great results with the privi m193, which is what prompted me to buy this 62gr stuff. I am not very pleased with the 62gr loading so I am gonna be searching for a new 62gr plinking round.
Does any one have any recommendations for a good 62gr plinking round? I am interested in the new production IMI m855 on the market but I'm not sure it will have any better accuracy. I plan to keep shooting the 77gr SSA, but I need something cheaper to practice with. |
