| ok im new to ar platforms so my question is on an standard 20 inch rifle with a flatop upper and the stock front sight using an acog how does the front sight not block the view thru the scope? just wondering before i buy. |

You will see it as a faint shadow. It doesn't bother most people. Hold a finger up a few inches from your eye while looking at something farther away. You will notice the finger, but it will not adversely affect your view of the farther object. Your finger will be far more noticable than the FSB. This occurs because the ACOG, like your eye, is focused at a farther distance than the object right in front of it.
I run a LaRue BUIS in front of my TA31. It almost completely obstructs the objective lens of the ACOG, yet is no more perceptible than the FSB. |
| I have a flip up front sight. Yesterday was the first day mounting my TA31F. Front sight up or down didn't make any difference viewing thru the scope. However, using BAC and both eyes open the front sight in up position was a little of a distraction. ACOG rules - I am happy I went with this scope. I ordered a 4 MOA Trijicon red dot and mount from swfa using the ebay 25% off. Microsoft already acknoweldged the cash back and started the 60 day clock. |

It looks blurry in the bottom ¼ of the scopes. You will have to look for it in my opinion it not a problem.
