Just ordered a acog. What kinda mounts are you guys using.
I like the gg&g mounts on my eotech. Good enough for acog? |

Never had a problem with the standard TA51 if you don't need QD. This. If you're not planning to be constantly detaching it, all you need is to mount it finger tight - then take a quarter and advance the thumbscrew 1/8-1/16th of a turn further. Take a paint pen - make index marks, then never worry again. If you ever remove it - simply return the thumb screws to the indexed position, and it will return to zero within either 1 MOA or 1/2 MOA (I forget which by the specs). Might sound big to some, but to put that in perspective - most people living in temperate climates will have more zero shift between seasons than you will have occasionally removing your optic. ~Augee |
