Man I never thought these dang black riflels could be so dang addictive.  I have shot shot guns, and bolt actions all my life.   I never really got just over nuts on them.  I would buy one shoot it, go hunting with it, sight it in and that was about it.

These ar15's are a whole diffrent story.  I just thought I would get one for fun and varmint hunting.  I bought a dpms bull sweet 16 upper with a delton lower with cmmg lower parts kit and a cmmg 4 pos stock.  I got it all put together, and have been putting 100-200 rounds through it a weekend ever since.  I find my self just looking foward to trying to get tighter groups.

So I have posted this pic before but this is what my gun looked like when I bought it.

So I went shooting a few times really liked it, and one of my shooting buddies had a fixed a2 stock he said I could have so I put it on.  I really like the setup better feels more secure, and yes I know the scope is mounted way back.  I quite trying to do the whole nose to carging handle thing it wasnt my style and I couldnt do it with out it feeling akward.

So then im like I have to start rolling my own shells. I mean it makes perfect sense.  I want better accuracy and better shells at a descent price.  So im like I will buy a Lee start up kit.  Nope I said if I was going to do it I might as well buy what I wanted so I got a Hornady LnL classic kit with 223 dies, and most of the stuff I needed.  I mounted it up on a old table that I had, and it sucked I couldnt get enough leverage because the table was flexible.  So know im like what the heck I will build me a descent work bench.  So I build it and mount my press and powder drop.  I load up about 96 rounds.  It would have been a hundred but I didnt know what I was doing and crushed the shoulder on 4 of them.  Here is my new work bench.  What do you think?

So today I decided to go to the a gun show, and I wanted to buy a pistol.  I have never really wanted to buy a pistol, but now I need one.  I ended up not buying one because I dont know what I should buy or shouldnt buy so I just gave up.

So know im looking at the DPMS  LR-260H, and im pretty sure I will get one in the next couple of months.

This sickness really does never end does it.  You are always buying stuff arent you? I was warned but dang it yall were right.

Oh by the way any body have the LR-260H.  Im interested in how it performs

I started off on this a few years ago since buying my first AR. That was three years  ago. Now, I have thirteen. Once stricken with BRD, there is no cure.

The workbench looks great, but you're going to need a bigger safe.

Oh sure there is......the cure is

an m4 with rails, lights, lasers, VFG, red dot & BUIS, and a precision rig that has a long 24 in barrel and a high power scope, and an a1 retro, and an a2 clone, and a4 clone, and a light weight KISS carbine, and a dedicated 22lr AR, and a SBR setup, oh and one in 9mm, and 45, and 357 sig.  yeah thats the ticket.

Panhandle area here, although two of my college roommates were from your area (one from each city, actually).

Was just hoping against hope that another BRD victim was in this area, as we're sorely lacking.

You, on the other hand, should have plenty of company for a support group, if you so choose.

See the tacked "Where are you from" thread in the Texas Hometown Forum, for starters.

Very nice corner to contain your worsening dementia! I have a very small storage room up in my attic that I'm about to build a bench just about that size for...in order to mount a press, and also contain my dementia/BRD.

In fact, I was thinking of the Hornady LnL Progressive press and I was beginning to think that any workbench bought from sears, might be a little flimsy for it. I like how sturdy the bench looks and it's perfect for that confined space. Nice job!
