I'm looking to add rails to my free floating handguard vs. replacing it with a quad rail. From what I have seen I would be a little cheaper adding the rails by tapping the free float tube. Why are rails so expensive? I have the midlength handguard (9 inches) and the 7" rails are around $23 a piece. Anyone have any suggestions, ideas, better deals on rails, etc.? |
