I'm building a 14.5" mid-length which may have a suppressor on it in the 'future'.

Using a AAC 51T flash hider and a KAC URX3.1, so it is buttoning right up to the end of the barrel.

My question is about adjustable gas blocks.  Mainly, should I install one?

I was debating the same question on my build.  In the end, I decided to go with just a standard LPGB.  Here's my reasonings.

1. I'm using a Noveske barrel.  It already comes with a gas block, pin, and the barrel cut for the pin.
2. I've already spent quite a bit of money on my build.  I felt that the cost wasn't worth the benefits.  I'll take a little extra gas in the face and save some money.
3. I didn't want to have to send my stuff in to have the barrel and gas block recut to put on a different gas block.
4. The gun will run just fine with a suppressor and a standard LPGB.
5. When I do eventually get a suppressor, and IF I do decide I need an adjustable gas block, I can do it then.
