Ok I have a 25 WSSM upper.

I would like to be able to adjust the gas flow. Restrict it actually.

I was thinking about drilling a hole, threading it then put in a set screw.

I'd drill the hole through the gas tube on the block.

What size hole should I drill and what side threader should I use?

any suggestions or help would be nice.

Thanks.

You might take a look at this:

I make my own valves like the ones shown here.  They work great.

Do you use them on 25 WSSM uppers?

Would the extra pressure from a 25WSSM cause the gas tube to "pop" between the valve and the gas block?

I am presuming that you would close, or restrict the gas flow at the valve to slow the force of the gas and slow/delay the opening of the bolt. Is this correct?
