| Has anyone used the Pro with a different mount than what came with it? Trying to get pass that huge knob. If so pics please. |

I Started with the Aimpoint mount but the co-witness annoyed me.
I just got in a Larue LT129 Cantilever mount which pushes the Pro forward a few more inches and up a little more as well as having a built in spare battery compartment. I love the co-witness and the mount overall. I have a standard FSB sight and a rear Troy BUIS that I normally leave down. |

I'll also note that I never tested how well the stock mount retains the zero if removed from the rifle but the LT129 retains my zero every time. The Cantilever mount also leaves me room for my Troy BUIS, and an aimpoint magnifier which I run from time to time. |

Agreed. I use an LT129 for my M2, but if I got a Pro, I'd definitely go with an LT150. Keep it simple, lighter. Don't really need it pushed further forward. My $0.02. Quoted:

If you ever plan on running a magnifier, get the LT129 Wouldn't the LT129 cantilever be further forward from the magnifier? Just thinking that the rear of PRO and the front magnifier has to be as close as possible....that they would almost be touching each other? Also, what is the magnification of the PRO? |

+1, if i have to buy a separate mount, rather just buy a micro t-1 instead of a PRO Quoted:

I could never justify buying a separate mount for my PRO's. Their biggest asset is the value. ![]() +1, if i have to buy a separate mount, rather just buy a micro t-1 instead of a PRO To each his own, I tried to use the mount but I was not comfortable with the sight picture. I picked the pro over the T1 because I prefer the tube diameter and the see thru back cap(s). Really its about being comfortable with a product that is set up best for you so there is no wrong answer. Also I'm still 80.00 cheaper than the T1,more if I sell the Aimpoint mount and $80.00 can definitely come in handy on other things. |
| Im just as happy as a tornado in a trailer park with my pro just as it came out of the box , but not everybody has the same wants or needs so its cool there are options out there . I have tried mine for retaining zero and it has been close enough that I dont notice it. |
