I have one of the aimpoint clones from 1337tactical. It's on my plinker and have an eotech on my duty gun. Just wanted to know if anyone has tryed to put one of the true aimpoint double battery holders on the aimclone? Also, the lens caps are ok but seem a little flimsy so also would the standard aimpoint caps fit? I know I could have just gone out and purchased an aimpoint and gotten the better caps to begin with and the double battery storage but like I said it's just on a range toy. So any help is appreciated. Delta |

We had sold the Aimpoint clones but we had problems so we stopped selling them and started selling the SPOT. We have had really good luck with them. They are $149 with mount. I dont have a aimpoint clone or a aimpoint period (eotech for me  ).... but i was thinking about getting one for my nephews .22 and in my research i read that people were replacing the stock clone batterys with a duracell 1/3n battery. | actually I like it alot. I think this weekend I'm going to take it and try to beat the crap out of it to see how it holds up. So far for normal shooting however, it seems fine. I've already replaced the battery with the standard aimpoint one but was wondering if their double battery holder would fit the clone. I guess I should order another one since I'm probably going to break this one this weekend. I think driving my jeep over it should be a decent test. Followed by a trip into the swimming pool... |
