Eotechs EAT BATTERIES like mad.

Aimpoints run forever, even if they are left on. New models can run 5,000 - 10,000 hours.

Both are durable. Both companies really support their products.

I used to run Eotechs, but run Aimpoints exclusively.

If I take my glasses off, the Eotech reticle is useless.  With an Aimpoint it doesn't seem to change.

For me its because of the battery life, ergonomics and a lot less failures with Aimpoint.

aimpoints have a smaller dot if you want it.
smaller over all size (micros)
crazy long battery life.

um... win!

We have a mix of new/old Aimpoints on all the M4A3's in the squadron. I love em. 'Quick target acquisition' is what I like compared to a magnifying scope/optic. "unlimited eye relief" and "parrelax free" (put the dot on it anywhere in the tube, which you can easily see, and it will hit)

The Aimpoints something I like, have trained on, and works well for me. But I've never used an EOTech, so I can't compare them.

Buying one very soon, preferably an ML3, 2 MOA. Meets my needs the best.
