Can a Aimpoint mounted on a Arms  rail (on a flat top AR15) be removed and remounted without loosing it's point of aim?
I know it's probably been asked before, but I can't find the answer!

Unless your optic is mounted in a mount that will allow you to remove it and replace it with same amount of force/torque as you had, there may be a shift.  Consider an LT660 from LaRue Tactical, which guarantees zero-repeatability when you take the optic off the rifle and put it back on... As long as you put it back on the same spot on the rail.

The AIMpoint QRP mount does this just fine.  It has a clicker that kicks in at a set tension. Retains zero fine as long as you put it in the same rail slots.

I have tested it many times.
