I'm thinking about getting a CompC3 sight. G & R tactical told me that the mount it comes with will not allow it to co-witness on an AR. So if I use that mount, I can't use my troy BUIS? Also, will I be able to even see past my fixed FSB with the included mount? Which Larue mount is recommended to allow me to co witness?

The mount supplied with the CompC3 won't work on an AR15/M4 style carbine. It will put your reddot right in the base of your front sight. You'll want either the LT129 or LT150 depending upon whether you intend to use an Aimpoint 3X magnifier later.
