Do you think the CompM4 is worth the extra money?
Looking for some opinions. |
| I had the M2 which is identical to the M3 except for the M3's much longer battery life. I switched out to a M4s and will never ever look back. I love the M4s. To me the M4 has a much better build quality and the thought that went into the design is just that much better. The on/off switch on the M4 is far better. The AA batteries are as you know very easy to come by. Batteries for the M2/M3 Aimpoints are not so easy to find. I would suggest that if you do get either Aimpoint you get a LaRue mount. |

I have an M3, M4 and T1. T1 kicks all thier asses.
That being said I would not spend the extra money for the M4 over the M3. The only reason I got the M4 was because it was offered to me at a great price. If I were you I would get the M3 (or ML3 if you do not care about night vision gear) in the LaRue mount. If you have your heart set on the M4 trust me and go with the M4s in the LaRue mount. The M4s is much cleaner with the battery box low on the right. In the end you can not make a bad choice with Aimpiont.
