If the Aimpoint CompML3 is'nt Night vision compatible, Why are'nt the first 6 clicks on the brightness switch viewable?Do they use the same setup for all of there sights?I wish I could afford some NVG to see if the dot is visible on the first 6 settings.

Turn it on in the dark...........you'll see the dot then.

Okay that kinda worked,but the first 3 settings are still not visible.I know the first 3 settings on the comp3 are dedicated for night vision use,maybe the same is true for the CompML3.

IIRC, later model ML3's are NV compatible, just not advertised as such.

On another board I was told the M3 and ML3 have the same circuitry, just the lens coatings differ.
