Does anyone have experience with this sight? I have a 1X, but I am curious on the magnified version. Also, does the military use 2X models at all?
Thanks!

I had one.
The FOV is so small, that the sight becomes almost worthless.
It works only with very close eye relief, which is not exactly why one buys an Aimpoint.

The military has little use for bad products.

Not exactly.  Like any scope it'll be parallax free at one distance only.

The ACOG w/BAC is special because the reticle is illuminated by the fiber optics so you can use it kind of like a dot.  But since your brain is combining the "dot" from your right eye with the view of the world from your left eye there will be some "error" present.  Once your brain "zooms in" and you're using the 4x view from your right eye and the reticle from that same eye, then it's just like any other scope.

The Aimpoint (but not necessarily all dots?) is parallax free because of the way the lenses are shaped.  I don't know if that holds for a 2x.
