[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint Comp M2 or Comp M3?

i have been looking at each one of these in the 4MOA through the larue package deal, which one will i be happier with? I have a Bushmaster A3 and hope someone has used both of these and can give me a little advice. Thanks any advice will help!

I got one better, I left my ML2 on while I was deployed to Iraq and had no change in brightness after a year of being on. In over two years of owning that optic I never changed the battery

I have a CompM3 2 MOA and have been very happy with it since last November.

I believe it has 500,000 hours on the NV setting, of which there are 4 levels of intensity.

It has 50,000 hours of life on setting 7, which for some odd reason that is where I like it, at setting 7.

Submersible to 135 ft. ( I would have to travel by boat at least 20+ miles from where I'm at to reach that depth ). I think that might have been a Special Ops or Seals requirement. But in the Bays and rivers here, if I brought my CompM3 and my Bushmaster went overboard, you can bet that I would put my scuba gear on, just to get it.
