| The power control knob (PCK) is loose. I can make adjustments no problem, but there is play in the PCK. Is there a way to fix this without returning it to the factory? |

As mentioned above that was an improvement made over previous COMPM series sights to provide a disconnect between the adjustment knob and the rheostat that significantly reduces the chance of a hard impact to the knob breaking the rheostat.
That is what the internet told me anyway when I was researching it
