I bought a used Comp M on the EE and it came without a battery.  I installed the battery from my Comp M2 and it worked fine, but the dot is dim (common to Comp M vs Comp M2).  Do these units use the same batteries?  Or is there a different battery for the Comp M?  Thanks for any help provided.

Sweet!  Just what I needed.  Should have looked there myself.  Thanks for the info.

I have had several CompM and CompM/XD sights, and the dots vary in how bright they are.  Seems to me some where between the serial number 50,000 and 90,000 the dot became much brighter.  So if you have one with a serial number less then 50,000 then count on it being fairly dim, least that be my experiance.
