Does Magpul make a MIAD/MOE cored that will secure spare CR2032 bateries for the above sight?

If not, any ideas on how to securely store an extra battery or three in the MOE grip space so they stay safe and dry?

With a 5 yr battery life (Mine's been on since 6/08) I don't carry a spare. but if I felt the need, I would take one of those tiny little ziplock bags and put one in there and then stuff it inside my MIAD grip.

I'm going to see about making a foam insert for my LT-660 mount.  My plan is to cut a slit or two in it to hold the batteries in place & putting it into the underside of the mount.

I'm sure I'm not the first to think of it, so if anyone else has tried it, how'd it work out?

Thats another good idea.. I forgot about the hollow area on the LaRue Mount. Again, I would stick with a small zip lock bag and keep it simple.

Thanks for the ideas.
The reason I'm asking is I would really like to get a T1 for my next AR as it will be a KISS M4, set up to be as light as is reasonable.
I have never trusted any battery operated optics.  I own several Trijicon optics (TR20, TR21, and a TA338) Love them all but I'm looking for a much lighter 1X system for sub 300 M. use.
Right now it's a contest between the T-1 in a Daniel Defense mount and the RX30 Reflex in an ARMS throwlever mount.
The T1 has the size and weight advantage, The RX30 needs no batteries but is a brick by comparison.
To live with the idea of relying on battery power I would feel more comfortable with a spare handy.
As the battery would probably sit there for a "few years" I don't think foam under the LaRue mount or a ziplock would stand up to solvents, moisture and air for that long.
I want it there primarily as a back up to a battery failure not a normal draining of the battery.
Would a CR2032 battery fit in the core insert designed to hold 2 AA batteries side by side?

Just did some research and  measuring:
internet sez one CR2032 is 20 mm diameter X 3.2 mm. thick
my ruler sez two AA are 27 mm wide X 13 mm thick.

Looks like I could stuff one in there still in the wrapper with room to spare for some anti rattle foam.

That's a pretty sneaky idea! I like it!
