Can someone tell me the standard issue Aimpoint mount for our guys overseas now? Im building an M4orgery and want to put a ML2 on it but am having trouble finding the correct mount. I think this picture is the standard issue one. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/akim85/2116.jpg It might be that it comes with the ML2 and im just mistaken. Also.. is there any different between the CompML2 and the CompM2 other than the M2 is NV capable? Thanks for any help fellas! |

The Aimpoint mount in your picture looks like the factory Aimpoint model QRP Military Quick Release Picatinny ring mount. I've got a CompM2 and the difference with the ML2 is that the M2 has NV settings, they're identical in outward appearance. Ref: Aimpoint Quick Release Picatinny Ring Mount - SWFA website link |
