I'm beginning to get a little confused by all the various mounts for Aimpoints. It seems like every day there's a new one on the market. I've been digging around a bit & thought I'd share what I've found so far. Feel free to add to the list, just be sure to give a pic, link, and MSRP and/or retail cost. Precision Reflex, Inc. The KAC, PRI and LaRue has a Low version...nice work btw... /S2 |
| I've been lurking Larue's thread lately, priced at $115 for a quality mount, it is very tempting. BTW, I wish Larue made the ring a bit wider like KAC, PRI or GGG, it would look more stout IMHO.. but again my opinion based by looks only, Im sure Larue mounts are strong enough like others. |
Ya know, I looked at their site briefly, but I couldn't find anything. What I was interested in was compiling a comprehensive list so that someone could look at the mounts & prices all in one place. I'll have to dig around & find the aimpoint ones if I can. |

Ive used and had no problems with the KAC cantilever. Its a nice lightweight mount. Ive used the 22M68 ARMS cantilever. It was a good mount, but it seems hit and miss on whether its tight on the reciever, however ARMS can change the pad to make it fit tighter if thats a problem. The PRI is hell for stout, and I know several people that are quite happy with them. I am currently using the LaRue QD mount, and I cant say enough good about it. The QD lever is adjustable to the tightness you want and its a rock solid mount. |
