Are the first four levels for the LED so dim as to only be visible with night-vision equipment?
Thanks. |
| I think that's just how aimpoints are i am probably wrong. The other day i was looking at a t-1, and the first 4 levels you couldn't even see it in day time. The salesman thought the same thing then told me 700 bucks was not worth it for one of those but he is an old school guy so i didn't take him seriously. |

Are the first four levels for the LED so dim as to only be visible with night-vision equipment? Thanks. I was under the impression that the NV setting emittied a different light spectrum? IR anyone? Light spectrum references talk about special coating of lenses for use of all types of NVDs. |

IR is a part of the same spectrum, just outside of our eye's limits. The NV-compatible settings are not emitting IR light. They are simply dim. Level 4 on my T-1 is barely visible to my naked eye in a dark setting. |
