Anyone using the Daniel Defense 1 o'clock offset mount? If so, is it an easy transition to shoot from that position?
Any opinions and experience would be appreciated, so would pics! |
| It is easier to transition to than a 45 degree mount. I found that I just did not like tilting my gun over, and I shoot a 1-4x optic to solve that problem. The DD 1 o'clock mount is a great option for a mini red dot on a different plane, but two planes of optics isn't for me. |

Do you keep the same cheekweld when switching to the T1? Not really, my head doesn't move but my wrist does. I can easily and quickly flip the rifle about 30 degres back and forth and be right where I need to be for both optics (eye relief). As I said before, once you practice with it, it really isn't much of an issue for the gains that you get from the setup. I'd look up some 3 gun videos online as they will show you a lot of guys transitioning in real time. |
