I have an eotech but had to see what the Aimpoint fuss was about so I ordered one.  What mount do I need?  I would like the irons to sit in the lower third.

You have several options. The PRI high mount and LaRue Tactical standard mount will put the irons in the lower third...

GG&G cantilever mount for me. But I need it stuck way out there for use with Night Vision. The Larue is nice as is the ARMS 22M68 look around and See what you like really.

I think I'm going with the Arms 22M68 with cantilever and spacer.  Will this co-witness in the lower third?  Any feedback on this setup?

im in the minority but i like the issue rail grabber with spacer. cheap, no fuss. maybe not that sexy but it will place the M68 far enough out for use with an NVD.

Great setup.  It was "state of the art" a few months ago, before Larue came along .

It will cowitness in the lower portion of the Aimpoint.

Thanks for the info.  I'm going with the Arms I mentioned.  The Larue is cheaper and a good mount but I don't like the "tree stand" look.

The LT products all have black levers (now). The pic you see is of an older unit...

Is there anything wrong with the standard Aimpoint CCO M68 mount?

Does it return to zero when removed?

YOU NEED TO ADD THE SPACER. ESTHETICALLY NOT THE BEST THING GOING, BUT WORKS.

THE KNOB ON THE LONG SHAFT IS PRONE TO GETTING BENT. THERE ARE BETTER CHOICES FOR A FEW BUCKS MORE.

The PRI and LaRue are the only two Aimpoint mounts I would even consider buying anymore.

That's humorous. I've gotten the same response between the older (bronze colored) and the newer ones that I have from those that have seen and used mine. Go figure..

I own the 22/68 w/cantilever spacer and the LaRue.
I like the "look" of the ARMS better and my mount works fine for me.
The LaRue is a great mount and is built like a tank.

LaRue, PRI, KAC cantilever or straight.

Anyone of those would serve you well.
