I am planning to head to the range afterwhile to check the zero on my Aimpoint. I have a 14.5 inch carbine with 55 grain FMJ.

I have some of the Army 25 Meter targets.

What do you suggest for this zero? Am I correct that the Improved Battle Zero is dead on at 50 meters? If it is dead on at 50 will it be a bit high (maybe an inch) at 100m and then dead on again 200? If this is correct I think it will still be center of mass at 300m.

Correct, dead on at something around 217-220.  300yd COM hits shouldn't be an issue.

I use a 50 yard zero with my Aimpoint on a 16" rifle.

Top of forehead (for head shot) at contact range.
100 yards is about 2.5" high.
Back to zero at ~200.
Hold at top of shoulders at 300.
Top of head at 400.
Can't see human sized targets (unless painted bright colors) at 500+ so I don't worry about it. BSW
