Hello Mike, Welcome to the Optics forum. I have a couple of questions for you. Can you tell us about the 3 power optic that Aimpoint has out now. This may have been covered before thru other media but I am lacking in data as to what the product is and how it performs. Is it currently available to the US market? Also, does Aimpoint have plans to change the reticle in the M2 in order to provide a better picture for those that use NV gear. I want to say that I love your products and own several M2s and ML2s but I find the simple dot lacking when using NV gear. Lastly does Aimpoint have any new products in the works that will be released this year? Thank you for your time. |

The 3.5X scope project that we prototyped over the last couple of years was shelved for now. The optic was great, but it had no internal adjustments, and required a mount with adjustments similar to the Elcan scopes. We were never satisfied with the mounting solutions developed in house and by other suppliers, and we went back to square one. The project still exists, but it has been given a lower priority. Expect to see some other developments from us in the next 6 months! Mike. |
