I recently purchased a compML2 and am wondering if this is normal....when I turn it on I cant see the dot for the first 3 clicks, after 4 it shows up really dim then gets fine after that...no real complaint just wondering if this is normal...I even tried using it in total darkness still couldnt see a dot using the first 3 settings.  thanks for any info

I haven't used an "ML2" but the settings you describe are tantamount to how my "M2" Night vision ones work.

I checked it twice cuz I was thinking maybe I got an M2 instead...but its clearly marked an ML2....but thats exactly what I was thinking when I first tried it, and couldnt see the first 3 settings.

The ML2 isn't NV compatible.

That’s funny as I can see the first setting in total darkness. The dot is very faint but still visible. The second and third settings are quite visible in a totally dark environment.

I know that but the M2's are and the M2 and ML2 are identical with the control switch, battery pack, etc.

Mine does the very same thing.  I thought maybe they had messed up and sent me the NV compatible model but I can't even see the dot when the tube is on these low settings with my NV Goggles.
