Can anyone tell me how this works - I know it doesn't double the battery power, just a spare carrier.  How does it hook up, and where?  Any good pics to compare with a stock setup?

Thanks.

Sorry, no pics.  It's really just a slightly oversized battery cap with a spacer inside that allows you to put a second battery in (doesn't get tapped, just stored).  SWFA threw one in with a spare battery for free when I got my Comp M2 a few weeks back.

The standard cap is just laying on top of the sight body.

I marked the module with a black marker so I know which end is in use...just because Im slow.

Will these things work on the older Comp M?

Lumpy, I notice you don't have a spacer on
the ARMS mount, how is the sight picture,
I'm thinking about buying one and don't know
if I need the spacer or not, I want it low
but am concerned about the picture.

Mew,

I dont need a spacer because my 22M68 mount is directly on an ARMS 38 EX Mod L rail:

You will need the full spacer if you mount directly on a flat top

Nice rig Lumpy196.  Is that the new Crane stock?  How do you like it?  Also, what SureFire light are you running up there on the starboard side?  Thanks in advance.

Its the new Vltor carbine stock.  Its tight, rattle free, the cheek weld is phenominal, and the battery storage is cool.

The Surefire is an M962 9volt w/ARMS throw lever.
