I got a new M2 and installed the battery, turned it on and nothing; Hmmmm. Ah, it has a double battery module, so I drop in two batteries and bingo. What is the correct way to use this thing? Do both batteries need to be fresh and working,since they seem to be in contact with each other with the + side toward the cap. Make any sense?? |

You place the first battery, the one powering the Aimpoint in with the + toward the cap. You place the second battery (not powering the Aimpoint, the spare) in the opposite way. When the first battery goes dead, you unscrew the cap, flip the battery module around and re-install the cap. Notice in this illustration, the +s face each other.  |
