I have decided to bring my A2 into the 21st century and add an Aimpoint.

I will use the step down mount that allows it to be mounted in front of the 'carry handle'.

Which ring should I use as I would prefer a slightly higher optic than standard co-witness? I want my irons to be visible in the lower 1/3 of the Aimpoint

If you're talking about the Aimpoint OEM cantilever mount for the carry handle, then you also want an Aimpoint QRP mount with spacer to get a lower 1/3 cowitness.

I used a ARMS 39 GOOSENECK & QRP mount plus aimpoint

Gave me dead center cowitt

I RAN THIS SET UP FOR OVER 6 years

BTW DONT USE SPACER
