Im gonna invest in an CompM3..what do I need 2MOA or 4MOA its gonna be used for no farther than 100yds?

Either is good. I have the 2 moa and love it. If your use is only within 100 yards, I'd have to say go with whichever you can get the better price on.

4moa for sure, its easier to find on target at close distances. Have you thought about a Micro T-1?

I have yet to find photo or video examples of what a 2 moa looks like in comparison to a 4 moa dot. I haven't seen one on Aimpoints site and not in any of my searches.

I am about to purchase one too, but was thinking about using a magnifier in the future. I believe the 3x magnifier would make a 4 moa dot a 12 moa dot. The 2 moa dot would then look like the size of 6 moa (everything else would be magnified too).

The micro aimpoints are compact for sure but i just dont like the look.I have a friend whos a dealer and he can get me an M3 for $477 with cover,flip caps and the kill flash.I never thought about the magnifier,but ill go for the 4MOA..thanks all
