I have an aimpoint ML that has seen better days. Should I just use krylon flat black to refinish?
Or is there something better to paint it with at a reasonable cost?
Also I have looked on a few vendors sites for the rubber covers (not the flip kind but the one piece rubber)  but haven't found them. Does anyone know where to get this?

Thanks
Tim

If it bothers you then go for it. I say the little scratches and dings add character. But keep in mind that the black on the aimpoint is anodizing and not paint.

I'm not current on all the types and brands of spray-on finishes, but it seems that the finish that you spray on and let cure for a week would be your best bet. Other finishes require baking and I don't think you want to go that route!

Aluma-Hyde from Brownells.  Works great and you can choose many different colors.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered a can of the Aluma-hyde 2 from Brownells.
I'll see how that turns out. Does anyone know where to get the one piece rubber lens cover that attaches to the QRP mount?
