Got my new scope and mount for my AR but how do I make sure I have the reticle properly aligned?  Is there a better way than just eyeballing it to be sure I don't have it slanted?  Thanks.

If you have railed handgaurds you can put a level on it and a level on the top of the scope elevation knob. once they are both level slowly tighten in a x pattern.

I don't have railed handguards on this upper.  Just round handguards.  Great idea for another setup though.

Hang a plum bob from the garage, level and support the AR, put a level on the bottom of the magwell, level there, left to right and align the vertical reticle with the plub-bob string....I have done this many times

This route sounds like it'll do the job.  Thanks for the help Bronc.

The Segway Scope leveler is the best I've used.  Here are two places to buy it.  The one from Brownells has a bubble level.

Here are some tips on how to use it.
