By the time you add a BCG & CH , more than I care to pay for an upper .  But then , I pay dealer price at Midway and Brownells .

Being my first AR, price wasn't a major factor in the build. I don't mind paying for something that I can count on and I have heard nothing but good things about BCM.

Nice good job. Your upper is "out of stock" on your link. How long you have to wait?

A2 handguards
Magpul MBUS
Couple PMAGS

I plan on sighting it in Friday, I will let everyone know how it does.

looks good, not my style- but i'd take it!...i'm building a hopefully BCM upper (if they can ever get more in stock) and spikes lower M4gry

how is the BCM finish compared to the spikes lower in person? the spikes lower looks to be a bit lighter and have more of a matte finish...however, on spikes tactical they have pics of lowers that look almost teflon coated and super shiny and then pics that look like a dull matte finish showing the same model...the pics they have on their website must be mixed up for some of the lowers

20's are sweet, wish I still owned mine.

The Spikes lower is a bit lighter and more matte actually. It's not much of a difference though, gives it *character*.

Did you have any issues with installing the DD LPK into the Spike lower? I am using that same combo this afternoon to build my lower.

No issues that could be considered troublesome. Make sure you do have some punches, you are going to need those. The roll pins are a pretty tight fit into the lower. Other than that it was easy, just take your time.

I have just returned from sighting it in. Its POA POI at 50yds and im getting 2" groups with it all the way out at 100. It shoots great, no problems at all even with some cheap Barnaul i ran through it to test.
I did sight it in using 55gr bullets and the 1/7 barrel does just fine with them.

New optics.
It's a Millet DMS-1 on a Burris P.E.P.R mount.
So far I am pleased with the quality of both products. I will have to take it to the range and sight it in.
Sorry bout the crappy photo.
