I finally got all my parts in for my 723 clone. Still haven't torqued the barrel and the receivers are just a stand in until the others are Cerakoated. Just super happy and thought I'd share. I really need to get a decent camera. http://<a href=http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p511/Sputnik1988/f676735e7c6ea76abccb31b57a916ccc_zpsd236d566.jpg</a>" /> Ended up using an A1 grip cause it's mo' better. Looks mighty fine to me. A1 PG should be OK, you just need an A1 lower. |

Maybe take it off and hit it from far away so it just gets some over spray on it. |

Just curious what barrel did you use? It's a T&E barrel from Green Mountain, M4 profile with a 1/6 twist. They are pretty interested in a faster twist for SBRs and want to see how it performs in all lengths from 10.5 to 20 inches. From the testing that's already been done, it really likes 75-77 grainers and believe it or not some of the varmint rounds in the 40 grain range. M193 performs pretty well and Wolf is absolutely terrible. |

Go to a place that sells a wide assortment of colors and bring a handgaurd, pick the color that matches the best. Some sort of Tan, Beige, etc. |

The lower the number, the faster the twist. 1/12 barrels are slow twist, 1/9 medium, 1/7 fast, 1/6 even faster. |

Nice job hope it shoots as good for you as it looks. I used to shoot black powder and green mountain barrels are great shooters win quite a few matches with that barrel.
So its off to the next build and the next and the next its called retro addiction and sorry to say there is no cure, you will not make house payments so you can buy more parts.

Looking good! Wish I hadn't had to sell my 727ish upper... Oh well. The 14.5 LMG upper? Yes. It went to a guy who really, really wanted it. Just one of those things I'm afraid. The last year was a rough one. I'm hoping things are turning around. |
