Why do I see mags in the EE go for anywhere from $5.50 to $25 each for the same brand NIW mags from individuals?
I have personally bought NIW Centers(USGI) for $5.50 each I think it was but you see alot of people in the EE asking $20 or so a piece like theirs are special or because maybe that's what they paid for them during the ban years |

Because people:
1) are unaware of the cheaper mags 2) are too lazy to look for the cheaper mags 3) feel that paying more for the same cheap mags makes them somehow better 4) think that they are getting a superior level of "service" from the seller of the expensive mags 5) are the seller's brother-in-law 6) think that the seller of the cheaper mags has a bad reputation 7) get used to clicking on one seller, and one seller only, and thus pay whatever that seller demands 8) feel like they must be loyal to a particular seller 9) don't actually buy the mags from that seller, but the seller just has them listed for a lot of money and makes his money on the one or two dumb guys that he sells to |

It's pure supply (dwindling) and demand (increasing). |
