| I am in the process of putting together a new 9mm AR setup on a Ameetec 9mm lower, a rock river upper, hammer & buffer assembly, probably going to use the KKF mag block. I was pondering what kind of ammo would be the most effective, at first I was thinking like +P+ or somthing. The more I think about it though the more I think that would be a poor pick. I may be wrong but... would +P+ or comparable ammo because, its moving so fast out of a 16" barrel fragment on a target without much penatration? What ammo would you pick or, do you use and, what are you're thoughts on this? Am I wrong? |
What you want to do with the gun. I use the 100 round value pack from Wallyworld Winchester target ammo $10.98 a box I think. It shoot very well out of my RRA 9mm set up. Can not help U in the killing are for human, never shot any yet but I think 32 rounds of target ammo will stop anybody.

+P+ 9mm ammo out of a 16" barrel doesn't break apart or fragment ... until it hits the target The only concern you should really have is... is the ammo powerful enough not to get stuck in that long 16" barrel... not is it over powered... at least when we're talking standard 9mm pistol ammo in a carbine/rifle HTH ~D~ SNS |
