So, I have a few Safe/Fire lowers that I’m looking to engrave “Auto” on for FRT. I’m actually going to confirm that my RB works on the bolts tonight… but having a laser engraver (50W), looking at doing it myself. Anyone know the font of the selector marking on Anderson and PSA lowers? Anderson is the one with the one piece trigger guard. PSA is their stealth one. Doing my two AR9s. One is a traditional Colt build, with 10.5” and DOE uppers (original DOE, non-threaded). Other is suppressed with an Angstadt Vanquish. Likely also finally biting the bullet and doing my H&R 604… but that is already marked. |

The font used for the SAFE and FIRE markings on that Palmetto State Armory (PSA) lower receiver is likely a variation of Eurostile or Microgramma. These are extremely common in the firearms and aerospace industries because they are "industrial" sans-serifs that look clean when engraved or roll-stamped. Key Characteristics: Eurostile Bold/Extended: This is the most common commercial match. It features the squared-off curves and wide stance seen in your image. Microgramma: This is essentially the predecessor to Eurostile. It is almost identical but usually only comes in uppercase, which fits the "SAFE/FIRE" application perfectly. Similar Alternatives: If you are looking for a font to match this for a project or custom engraving, you might also look at: Bank Gothic: Often used for a similar military/tactical aesthetic, though it has sharper corners than the ones in your photo. Michroma: A free Google Font alternative that captures that wide, squared-off look. DIN 1451: While more vertical and less "boxy," it is the industry standard for technical engravings if you wanted a slightly more European look.
