| Anyone have any experience with the Anderson 6.5 Grendel upper. Thinking about picking one up to go on my PSA lower. |

Anderson has partnered with Wolf Performance Ammunition, Arms & Optics and is selling a 16" 6.5 Grendel upper manufactured by Anderson to Wolf's specification.
Anderson Manufacturing list their barrel as Grendel 1 chamber which is unique to Anderson. A person on another forum purchased a Wolf 6.5 Grendel upper and it is marked 6.5 Grendel. Both barrels are chrome moly 4140 steel with 1:8 twist. I noticed a Wolf upper on sale on GB, might be worth a look. Your buying a budget item so it might be a gamble on accuracy because your getting a rack grade barrel however Anderson has good customer service. |

Ya I figured for that price the accuracy would prolly be a crap shoot. A future barrel/bolt swap isn't out of the question though. If you can build your own upper and have piles of parts, buy a barrel (200) and bolt (90) from Alexander Arms. They shoot well. or if you're interested in a SBR/Pistol upper, there's a bunch of people from here and grendel forum that are getting 12" barrels from Faxon for $160. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
