| I picked up a couple to have on hand..gtg? Anyone using them have some feedback? |

Quoted: I knew someone would ask why buy them, then ask for feedback. :). I got them from primary arms and reviews on the site looked good. I was looking for more long term feedback from this crowd. I'll be happy to report back once I put them into service. |

they are probably low grade, just like everything else they sell. Quoted:

Maybe the Tier 1 operators among us need something better but for us mere mortals . . . . |

I'll be happy to report back once I put them into service. Been working great in the 300blk carbine I assembled with all Anderson components. Why do you say they sell low quality parts? My understanding is that there are only a few actual manufacturers of most of these parts and everyone else resells them. |

My friend got one because it was the only one on amazon and he wanted to use a gift card for it. It seems to run just fine but be sure you oil it. Don't believe their "no lubrication" BS Anderson BCGs are not RF85 treated parts. Running a BCG without lube = operator error. Which Parts Are NO LUBE? Only our rifles are treated with RF85, the proprietary treatment that means your weapon never needs oiling. ONLY CERTAIN PARTS SOLD SEPARATELY HAVE BEEN TREATED WITH RF85. Look for the RF85 logo to identity our world famous NO LUBE RIFLES. |

Don't believe their "no lubrication" BS What do you mean BS? Surface coatings are amazing, I believe them when they say CERTAIN parts LABELED RF85 don't need lube when used with matching RF85 parts. None of my Anderson parts are RF85 treated and I have no problem with that. I run my two ARs nice and wet and they have had no problems. |

After a brief conversation with Charles Anderson (the owner of Anderson manufacturing) at the Shot show on Tuesday, they recently started sourcing their bcg parts from World Class manufacturing in Weyauwega, WI. I once use the same source for bcg parts until I started making them myself, because they made me about $300k worth of bad parts. From what I understand from one of their quality people, they keep sending out these same bad parts then getting them all back a few weeks later. |

I have bought a ton of Anderson bolts in the past and I would like to keep doing so. Could you give us some more details? |

Any business with that behavior would be out of business fast. If you change "...then getting them all back ..." to "...then getting the bad ones back..." I would look at the "quality" person and ask why he's incompetent. Or choosing to continue to work there. If my profession was quality inspector and the product going out the door was crap, I would never be able to use that job as a reference. Unless my last name was on the building and there was some magical money tree in the backyard covering for the gross incompetence. Weird stuff happens. So I suppose as a singular event this might be true. But continuing to pump out crap product is a race to bankruptcy. edited to add: I have no connection to Anderson other than buying three lowers and two carbines (mostly, some few parts were sourced elsewhere but the pile is ~90% by cost Anderson) worth of product from the LGS that are Anderson. |
