After sticking with AKs for all these years, I've decided to venture into the world of ARs. I did quite a bit of research, but couldn't turn up too much information on Anderson Manufacturing other than:
1. The owners were shills at some point 2. They manufacture forgings for other companies (Colt?) 3. They're really cheap If I'm only concerned with buying a quality lower (no care for cool roll marks), are these a decent option? The fact that the owners did a bit of "disguised self promotion" is a little concerning, but if they make a quality product, then I can get over that (no, I'm not affiliated with the company, and my many ignorant questions here on Arfcom over the last few years should be sufficient proof of that). For $60/pop, would I be going wrong? I realize that in relative terms a Spikes lower may only be another $40, but I'm trying to stay in the truly "budget" arena. |

I have one with around 1000 rounds through it.
a lower, is a lower, is a lower, as long as its not polymer.. what I am getting at is I have had no issues with it. For 60$, you can't really go wrong. ETA: unless your going for a light weight build, or a retro build. Anderson is as good as anyone else. |
